First Time Syncing Smartpen Notes to Echo Desktop
- Create one general college account for all Smartpens
- You’ll need an email/Username and Password
- Write down account information
- Attach label with Username and Password to Smartpen
- Connect Smartpen to computer
- Install Echo Desktop
- Open Echo Desktop
- If Smartpen doesn’t connect, unplug and reattach it
- Sign in
- Select: Use Existing Account
- DO NOT CREATE NEW ACCOUNT
- Once a Smartpen has been registered to a computer it will be recognized in the future
- Echo Desktop can only work with one account at a time. One account can have unlimited Smartpens attached to it
- Listen to notes on computer
- Smartpen should transfer notes to Echo Desktop
- Click on the page, in the folder, you want to hear
- New Computer
- Follow steps 1-4 to sync Smartpen on a new computer
Printing your own Dot Paper
- Open Echo Desktop
- Select Tools, Print paper
